Fair Balance Tuition Fund

Dear Central Christian Supporter,

Do you remember your own school Christmas program? The lights? The speaking lines? The nerves? Or maybe you weren't nervous at all.

The confidence of children amazes me sometimes. Last week, I hear a story of a Central third grader who was excited about the Elementary School performing their Christmas musical in front of the whole school for chapel. When asked if she felt nervous about it, she shook her head and smiled as she replied, "No, I've done this before." She radiated confidence, competence, and joy. She was prepared and look forward to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus to older students, family and friends. Her joy and hope is a message for us all, particularly her at Central through a difficult month. This is one of the way Central Christian School grows Christian leaders for the church, communities and the world.

We believe that this excellent education should not be an elite education that excludes people for financial reasons. Towards this end we have created the "Fair Balance Tuition Fund." This fund takes the place of what had been called Student Aid or Tuition  Assistance. Fair Balance Tuition comes from the model of 2 Corinthians 8:14. "At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality." Central is worth the investment and the sacrifices that families make to send their children to the school.

In this Christmas season, I invite you to give to Central Christian School's Fair Balance Tuition Fund. This year, your gifts of $200, $500, $1000 or more will make it possible for students with diverse life experiences to have an excellent Christ-centered education. You may send a check or donate easily online through the CCS website by clicking on this link and selecting the Fair Balance Tuition Fund.

Thank you for your generosity.

With gratitude,

Terry Shue

Director of Development

P.S. A gift to the tuition fund in honor of one of our faculty is a wonderful form of encouragement! Thanks for your generosity!
