Archery Club

Archery Club promotes the learning of archery skills in order to develop a love for the sport, build self-confidence, find self-challenge by participating in various archery activities, and become skilled to the point where students could participate in local tournaments. Archery Club is based and conducted using the National Archery Schools Program (NASP) guidelines.  All equipment is provided.

Archery Club meets weekly at 7:00 a.m. and is open to students grades 4 – 12 and their parents.  Cost is $5.00/year.  Contact for further information or to register.

Snow Club

Snow Club is open to students in grades six through twelve, alumni, parents, relatives, friends, (basically anyone who has interest in skiing/snowboarding and doesn’t necessarily need to have connections with the school) and students in lower grades who are accompanied on the slopes by parents.

Snow Club provides a chance to learn or improve on the lifetime skills of skiing or snowboarding and official visits to Snow Trails (Mansfield) begin Monday nights in January and run through February/March - weather permitting.  However, all members can access the resort independently beginning opening day.  The bus to transport students in grades 6 – 12 will leave Central at 3:20 and return by 9:30.

Club rates and additional information can be obtained by contacting   Open registration dates will be posted on Central’s social media.  Costs vary depending on packages purchased…lift/rental/frequency of visits, but are extremely discounted through Club rates.

Robotics Club

Robotics Club is a chance to put science, technology, engineering, and math to work by learning, designing, building and programming robots, using LEGO EV3 kits.  Student in grades 5 - 12 become engineers as they work together to build and program robots that solve everyday problems.  This is a self-directed club where students are given opportunity to take robotics to their individual levels to complete various tasks.  First Lego League mats and obstacles are provided for exploration.

Robotics Club meets once a week, from 3:15 – 4:45, during second semester.  Contact for further information or to sign up.

K4 Explore More

Explore More is an after school discovery program designed for Kindergarten ­ grade 4 to experience a variety of opportunities to enhance their knowledge and appreciation for God’s amazing world and all that is in it. This parent­-led program provides academic enrichment, recreational, social, artistic and character development activities through hands­on learning.

There are five extended learning opportunities offered throughout the school year with minimal or no cost. The Program is held on Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 pm. Each month will have a different focus which will be announced by an email to parents.



STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) TEAM is an after-school club created for fourth and fifth grades with a intentional focus on integrated science enrichment activities. Our goal is to extend students’ scientific knowledge while working cooperatively with other students. We hope the learning experiences they have will excite a passion and joy for the sciences. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the events of Mystery Architecture, Robotics, and Egg Drop, as well as one study event to learn about trees, birds, or insects.  There is a $10.00 fee to participate. The team is coached by Jennifer Shue amongst others.
