Looking for a way to connect with the Central Community and make a meaningful impact in the daily lives of students and staff? You're invited to be part of Central Community in Prayer (CCP).
What is CCP?
Central Community in Prayer is a ministry that began over 20 years ago with the mission of supporting the students, staff, and faculty of Central Christian School through prayer and encouragement.
Every student is prayed for by name at least twice a year and receives at least one personal note of encouragement from a CCP member during the school year.
Beyond prayer, CCP also serves as a support team by participating in activities such as Spirit Weeks, Parent-Teacher Conference Staff Meals, Teacher Appreciation Week, and other opportunities to care for and uplift our school community.
When and Where?
In-Person:
CCP meets every Friday from 8:00–9:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room (Music Wing) at Central. During this time, members pray over students, staff, faculty, school events, submitted prayer requests and share a short devotional. You’re welcome to join us weekly or as your schedule permits. At the end of each school year, we often gather for a special fellowship breakfast—either at a park or someone’s home—to celebrate and reflect.
At Home:
If you’re unable to join in person, you can still be a vital part of CCP by praying from home. At-home members commit to praying weekly and writing notes of encouragement to students, staff, and faculty.
How Do I Join?
Whether you plan to join in person or from home, we’d love to have you! To get involved, please contact the the Main Office at MainOffice@CentralChristianSchool.org.
