How does your Christian faith influence your coaching? It plays a large part in how I treat my players, what I expect of my players, and how I/we go about teaching the players. God has placed all of us in a specific position to utilize our gifts for his glory and to use whatever platform we have to help build relationships and furthermore be the hands and feet of Christ. Coaching is that place for me.
What does “Athletics with Purpose” mean to you? It means we are in it for far more then just the wins and losses. As coaches are responsible to use Athletics as a means to teach life skills and to do so with Christ at the center.
